Those afflicted can no longer weigh facts or examine evidence. Every policy debate turns personal. Even positive reforms trigger outrage if Tinubu’s name is attached. When political hatred becomes identity, reality itself feels hostile. As the proverb warns, “The man who hates the drummer soon quarrels with the drum’s sound.” A clear mind compares plans and studies results. But TDS reduces politics to obsession and debate to performance art.
