Tinubu Inaugurates Ojota-Opebi Link Bridge as Catalyst for Lagos Growth

Bola Tinubu has inaugurated the newly completed 5.04km Ojota-Opebi Link Bridge in Lagos. He described it as a symbol of progress and a catalyst for economic growth in the nation’s commercial hub. Originally conceived during his tenure as governor in 2002, the transport corridor was completed under Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu. The bridge features pedestrian walkways, bicycle lanes, solar-powered streetlights and modern drainage to ease congestion and combat flooding. Represented by Godswill Akpabio, the president also commissioned the Lagos State Geographic Information System building and the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Administrative Complex. He said these projects reflect a people-centred approach and align with his Renewed Hope Agenda on digital governance and national development.
