FG and FCT Team Up to End Double Taxation in Abuja

The Federal Government has launched a new drive to stop multiple taxation in the FCT and boost revenue collection. At a meeting with FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, Chairman of the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms Taiwo Oyedele outlined plans to harmonise tax administration between the Ministry of Finance and the FCT Administration. Aligned with the new tax reform law, the initiative aims to ease the burden on residents and businesses, improve efficiency and accelerate development and infrastructure renewal across Abuja.
