Ikechukwu Onunaku: “Victoria Island Has Been Flooding for Decades”

Nigerian actor and rapper Ikechukwu Onunaku has challenged the surprise over recent floods in Lagos. In a video shared online, he reminded viewers that areas like Victoria Island have experienced flooding since his primary school days. He also noted that much of the city’s reclaimed land was once underwater before sand filling. Ikechukwu blamed poor planning and regulation for the ongoing crisis and warned that without lasting solutions, the problem could worsen.
