Nigeria and Jordan Deepen Defence Partnership with New Intelligence Sharing MoU
Nigeria and Jordan have formalised a defence cooperation agreement through a Memorandum of Understanding signed in Amman on 10 May 2026. The pact, endorsed by Nigeria’s Minister of State for Defence and the Jordanian Chief of Staff, commits both nations to joint military training, intelligence exchange and counter-terrorism operations. It also covers defence research, technology transfer and support for regional and global peace initiatives. The MoU aims to boost interoperability and explore setting up a defence production line in Nigeria under the DICON Act.
