Fuel Hike Hypocrisy: Where Are Bakare, Falana and Adeboye?

I’m watching Nigeria slide deeper into economic despair as fuel prices soar past ₦1,500 per litre under President Tinubu’s policies. This same administration was once condemned by figures like Tunde Bakare, Femi Falana and Pastor Adeboye when prices were barely ₦80. Back then, they led protests, issued fiery statements and accused government of betraying Nigerians. Today, they are silent while petrol costs skyrocket and insecurity spirals out of control. So I ask again: where are these outspoken activists now? Who will hold the current leadership to account?

Where are Bakare, Falana and Adeboye now that they once decried fuel hikes at just ₦80 per litre?

Do we have any record of their last public statements on fuel pricing? I'd like more context.

I dey feel you. It's frustrating how voices we trusted for justice remain silent on this fresh fuel increase.

It's remarkable how silence falls from these critics when price tags jump from ₦80 to over ₦1,500 in record time.

Are we sure their past statements meant real opposition or just political soundbites for camera attention?

We should track any public reactions or statements from these figures and demand accountability before prices kill more livelihoods.
