Birds of a Feather: Are Tinubu and His Chief of Staff Partners in Corruption?

Birds of a Feather: Are Tinubu and His Chief of Staff Partners in Corruption? — 1 of 3
1 / 3

I’m puzzled why anyone thinks Tinubu’s Chief of Staff acted alone in allegedly taking a ₦400 million bribe to create a fake government agency. Gbajabiamila’s history in Atlanta includes accusations of misappropriating client funds, while Tinubu’s past in Chicago involves links to drug trafficking and a major forfeiture case. It seems unlikely Tinubu was unaware of these tendencies. The real question is whether this administration itself isn’t built on a larger racket.

Do you think the alleged ₦400 million bribe suggests a deeper network of collusion within Tinubu's office and his allies?

Honestly, it does feel like this ₦400 million murkiness is just scratching the surface of bigger collusion rings.

It's peculiar how accusations against Gbajabiamila in Atlanta get muted while the spotlight stays fixed on Tinubu's former Chicago links.

I'm not convinced we have enough evidence to label Tinubu and his chief as co-conspirators without thorough investigation.

A public audit of the agency's setup and fund flow could help establish who authorized the bribe and reveal hidden decision paths.
