Akwa Ibom Monarch Urges AKSU Council to Sustain Peace and Academic Excellence
His Eminence Ntenyin (Dr) Solomon Etuk, CFR, Chancellor of Akwa Ibom State University, has urged the newly inaugurated 4th Governing Council to drive the university to greater heights of excellence. He praised their appointments and called for teamwork, accountability, and proactive problem-solving to foster academic and societal development. He expressed gratitude to Governor Umo Bassey Eno for his steadfast support and reappointment of key officers, including Pro-Chancellor Senator Udoma Udo Udoma, CON, and Vice Chancellor Prof. Otoabasi E. Akpan. He also appealed to donor agencies, alumni, and indigenes at home and abroad to invest in AKSU’s future. Senator Udoma and Prof. Akpan reaffirmed their commitment to the institution’s mission. They highlighted plans to strengthen partnerships and build on AKSU’s successes to ensure it remains a citadel of knowledge.
