Kaduna PDP Delegate Shares N7–13M Bribe Funds, No Probe Launched
After the May 2022 PDP national convention in Abuja, delegate Tanko Rossi Sabo returned to Kaduna State and publicly displayed the cash he received from aspirants. He said the money came from multiple primaries at state and national levels. Reports indicate he distributed between N7 million and N13 million. He used the funds to pay NECO and WAEC fees for 150 underprivileged students, purchase 42 custom football jerseys, and support elders in Sanga Local Government. Sabo told media he wanted to give back to his community rather than keep the “largesse” for himself. Despite allegations of vote inducement, no arrest or official investigation followed.
