Ex-Ekiti Governor Fayemi Accused of Funding ₦260m Range Rover for Mistress in Coscharis Court Battle

A dispute over a ₦260m Range Rover Sport has taken a twist. The Igbo Interest Group alleges Dr Kayode Fayemi bought the SUV for his mistress in August 2024. The vehicle was purchased from Coscharis but returned several times for maintenance. The socialite filed a complaint with the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission after claiming the car still had issues. Coscharis proposed three settlement options, including a brand-new 2025 model, and offered to share the ₦174m price difference. When the lady refused the offer and pressed FCCPC to seal the dealership, Coscharis filed for leave to appeal a court order to shut their showroom. The case is now before the Federal High Court in Abuja.
