At a recent investment summit, Aliko Dangote said the Federal Government collects 52 kobo of every naira his cement business earns. That works out to about N6,240 in tax on each 50-kg bag of cement. He pointed out that despite this significant revenue, the government still borrows heavily. Dangote asked where all the money is going.
