Gombe Police Rescue Abducted 8-Year-Old Boy, Arrest Four Suspects

Police in Gombe State have rescued an eight-year-old boy who was abducted from Akko community. The child left home on Saturday morning and was reported missing by his father at the Akko Divisional Police Headquarters the following day. After a 72-hour search, intelligence-led operations led officers to arrest a prime suspect on June 30. Investigations revealed three accomplices, including an 18-year-old woman. All four suspects have been taken into custody, and the boy was found unharmed and reunited with his family. The Gombe Police Command says the suspects will face court charges upon completion of the investigation.
