Osun Governorship Poll: Adeleke Reportedly Leads as Result Collation Continues

Results being collated from the Osun State governorship election reportedly place Governor Ademola Adeleke in the lead, although the Independent National Electoral Commission has not declared a final winner. The report says 535,127 votes have been recorded so far, including 10,122 rejected votes, from a voter register of 1,185,442. Adeleke is said to have polled 177,572 votes ahead of other candidates. While voting was reportedly peaceful in many areas, some locations recorded gunshots, disturbances and isolated violence. The final outcome will depend on the completion of collation and INEC’s official declaration.

Best to follow the official collation updates and wait for INEC's final declaration before sharing victory claims.
