Dino Melaye: I’d Rather Buy Cars Than Spend on Cocaine or Gay Parties

A former Kogi West senator says he prefers investing in luxury cars over spending on drugs or same-sex activities. He shared photos of his fleet, which includes a Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Mercedes-Benz G-Class and Ferrari, after musician Speed Darlington questioned the source of his wealth. Melaye said everyone chooses what to spend on—occult rites, hidden foreign accounts, cocaine or other pleasures—but his passion is collecting automobiles. He told critics to mind their own business. The ex-lawmaker, a PDP member, was removed by the Supreme Court last year and lost the subsequent rerun election.
