Como President Mirwan Suwarso Clears Path for Cesc Fabregas to Join Chelsea

Como boss Mirwan Suwarso says he won’t block Cesc Fabregas if he decides to take the Chelsea manager’s job this summer. Chelsea dismissed Liam Rosenior on Wednesday and has placed Calum McFarlane in interim charge for the rest of the season. Fabregas has been linked with the vacancy. Speaking to City AM, Suwarso confirmed that Fabregas is free to leave Como should he choose to accept Chelsea’s offer.

I'm not convinced that simply clearing the way seals the deal—Chelsea might prefer someone with genuine managerial credentials over an untested legend.

Chelsea's board should establish clear performance benchmarks if they appoint Fabregas, ensuring support structures guide his transition into management.
