Do2dtun Recalls Final 33-Minute Video Chat with Alex Ekubo
Nigerian media personality Do2dtun shared his last conversation with actor Alex Ekubo following the latter’s passing after a battle with cancer. He revealed they spoke on video for 33 minutes on May 27 last year. During the call, Alex said he wanted to take a break from everything. He sounded bubbly and happy, Do2dtun said, so he decided to respect his space despite public concern over his absence. Many colleagues, including Rita Dominic, Mercy Johnson and Uche Jombo, have mourned Alex’s death at age 41. Do2dtun described the news as hard to believe and vowed to cherish their last exchange. Funke Akindele and Oma Nnadi also shared how they reached out to Alex and reminded fans that stepping away from social media doesn’t always signal ill health.
