Ogun CP Deploys New Police Post to Enhance Security at OOU Ibogun Campus

Ogun State Police Command has rolled out measures to strengthen security at Olabisi Onabanjo University’s Ibogun campus and nearby communities. Commissioner of Police Bode Ojajuni led a delegation to assess the situation and meet key stakeholders. The team included the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations, DCP Bolanle Muritala, and Area Commander ACP Seyi Williams. They met with the Vice Chancellor, the Provost of CEES, the traditional ruler and student union representatives to discuss safety concerns. In response, CP Ojajuni announced intensified patrols, proactive policing strategies and the establishment of an on-campus police post for faster response and improved visibility. He also pledged ongoing collaboration with the NSCDC, Amotekun Corps and Ogun State So-Safe Corps to maintain peace in the area.
