Mat Fraser: Four-Time CrossFit Champion – Bio, Stats & Net Worth

Mat Fraser is an American CrossFit athlete and four-time CrossFit Games champion (2016–2019), after placing second in 2014 and 2015. He holds the second-longest winning streak in Games history. Born on January 25, 1990 in Cookeville, Tennessee, Fraser comes from an athletic family. His father was Olympic skater Don Fraser and his mother, Candace Jones, is a physician. He enjoyed swimming and water skiing before studying engineering at the University of Vermont. A back injury in 2009 led to surgery in 2011 and a switch from weightlifting to CrossFit in 2012. After refining his training and diet post-2015, he secured his fourth straight title in 2019. Fraser stands 1.70 m tall and weighs 88 kg. He is in a long-term relationship with fellow coach and athlete Sammy Moniz. With multiple awards and event wins, his estimated net worth is around $7 million.
