Jack Wilshere Backs Dowman for England’s 2026 World Cup Squad
Luton boss Jack Wilshere has urged England manager Thomas Tuchel to include Arsenal midfielder Max Dowman in the 2026 World Cup squad. Dowman was left out of England’s 35-man preliminary roster last week. Despite that omission, Tuchel says the door remains open for the young midfielder. Speaking to a national newspaper, Wilshere praised Dowman’s quality and form. He insisted the Arsenal star is more than capable of making the final squad for the tournament.
