Villa Blocks Martínez Exit, Juventus Target Maduka Okoye
Aston Villa’s director of football confirmed Emiliano Martínez is not for sale this summer. With the World Cup winner off the market, Juventus have shifted their sights to Nigerian goalkeeper Maduka Okoye. Okoye impressed at Udinese last season, keeping 10 clean sheets in 30 Serie A appearances and earning Player of the Season honours. Juventus see him as a cost-effective replacement after failing to land Martínez. Udinese value Okoye at around €15 million but may consider a structured deal worth €12 million plus bonuses. Under contract until 2028, the 26-year-old has left transfer talks to his agents as negotiations heat up.
