Anambra First Lady Commends Excellence at Primary Healthcare Awards
The Anambra State Primary Healthcare Leadership Challenge Award Ceremony celebrated outstanding grassroots service in primary health. At Awka’s Lighthouse venue, the First Lady praised the Ministry of Health and the Primary Health Care Development Agency for this initiative. She highlighted investments in infrastructure, staff training, upgraded centres, essential medicines access and improved maternal and child health services under the current administration. Drawing on her Healthy Living Initiative, she urged winners to view their awards as motivation for continued innovation. She called on government, healthcare workers, partners and communities to collaborate further and strengthen the state’s primary healthcare system.
