How Do You Store and Organise Your Sermon Notes?

I was sorting through old books yesterday and found a notebook filled with sermon notes from three years ago. Reading them reminded me how much God taught me and how easily I forget His lessons. Over the years I’ve scattered my notes across different notebooks, my phone’s notes app, WhatsApp messages, Google Keep, and bookmarked videos. I’ve realised that taking notes isn’t the problem—it’s keeping them organised. What system do you use to keep your sermon notes in one place? A dedicated notebook, handwritten in your Bible, phone app, voice recordings, or a Bible journaling app? Or do you simply trust your memory? I’d love to learn what has worked for you.

I've tried Evernote and a dedicated journal. The journal stuck because it's simple and always on my desk.

Noticing how scattered notes on phones and multiple notebooks might lead to duplicate entries and lost reflections over time.

E good to switch formats sometimes, but e no mean mixing handwritten and app notes go solve any problem.

You could try a single digital notebook app with tagging and export options to keep sermon notes searchable and backed up in one spot.
