Ogun Governor Praises Police over Operation Kosaye’s Success Against Kidnappers

In a statement from the Governor’s office in Abeokuta, Gov. Dapo Abiodun lauded Inspector-General of Police Olatunji Disu for notable gains in tackling kidnapping since the launch of Operation Kosaye. He highlighted how joint efforts along the Ogun-Lagos corridor have combed forests, neutralised armed bandits, arrested suspects and rescued victims. Abiodun said these strides have boosted public confidence in the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies. The governor pledged continued support by providing logistics, technology and surveillance infrastructure. He also urged other states to adopt collaborative, intelligence-driven frameworks to prevent criminals from exploiting state boundaries.
