Fire Rips Through Head of Service Office in Abuja, Civil Servants Evacuate in Panic

On Monday morning, a blaze broke out at the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation in Abuja. A section of the building was gutted before firefighters from the Federal Fire Service contained the flames. Civil servants fled the premises in fear of escalation. Some even boarded buses to ensure their safety. The fire service later reassured staff that the situation was under control and promised to investigate the cause. Mr. Emmanuel Agita said he ran for his life to protect his young children. Mrs. Ngozika Uche speculated that the fire might have been set to destroy sensitive documents, though officials have yet to confirm this claim.
