Chelsea have confirmed the permanent signing of 18-year-old defender Harrison Bettoni from Wigan Athletic. The Blues have tied the youngster to a long-term deal that runs until 2030. Bettoni featured 27 times for Wigan’s senior side in the 2025/26 season. He made his debut in last season’s EFL Trophy before impressing in his first League One appearance against Wimbledon. The teenager will now aim to win regular playing time under manager Xabi Alonso as he begins life at Stamford Bridge.
