Timi Frank Says Osun Election Result Offers Lesson for 2027

Former APC deputy national publicity secretary Timi Frank says Governor Ademola Adeleke’s Osun governorship victory shows that Nigerian voters can determine electoral outcomes despite political pressure or intimidation. He said the result should encourage Nigerians to participate actively in the 2027 general elections, remain at polling units where lawful, and ensure their votes are counted. Frank also urged opposition parties to work together if they hope to challenge the ruling APC. Frank praised Osun voters for voting according to their conscience and called on young people, celebrities and other citizens to take a stronger interest in defending democratic values through peaceful and lawful means.
