Man Arrested for Allegedly Vandalising Pedestrian Safety Barrier at Mile 12

Officials of the Lagos State Government have arrested a middle-aged man for allegedly vandalising a concrete safety barrier at Kosofe Bus Stop in Mile 12. The barrier was installed to discourage pedestrians from crossing the expressway. The state’s Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources said the suspect was allegedly removing iron rods, cables, steel reinforcements and other components from the structure. The commissioner said the suspect will be prosecuted in line with the law.
