Why Africa Needs a Blueprint, Not Just Prayer, for Sustainable Growth
I believe Africa’s future depends on practical planning, not miracles. China and the USA didn’t pray their way to development—they built long-term blueprints across key sectors. As Abraham Lincoln said, the best way to predict the future is to create it. If we can envision our goals, we can achieve them through visionary leadership and sound policies. China excels in manufacturing, engineering and technology by emphasizing STEM in early education. They combine belief systems with people-focused governance, economic planning and anti-corruption measures. Great nations are designed, yet too often we elect leaders for short-term gains. We sell our resources for instant gratification and wonder why we lag behind. Our government reflects our choices—it’s time to choose planners over promises.
