Sevilla striker Akor Adams is thrilled after making his debut for the Super Eagles at the 2025 African Cup of Nations. Coach Eric Chelle handed him his first tournament call-up following strong showings in the World Cup qualifiers. At AFCON, Adams scored three goals and provided two assists as he linked up with top teammates like Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman. He believes playing alongside quality stars naturally lifted his own performance on the field. Adams described it as “one of the great privileges” of his life to represent Nigeria on the continental stage. He now turns his focus to more games, including the upcoming Unity Cup in May.

With his strong debut, Adams should focus on linking up quickly with teammates and adapting to Coach Chelle's tactics in next matches.
