Best known for her 1996 hit Yeibiri, Sugar Ere Lizzy had been battling ill health before Miike Ekiye’s podcast highlighted her condition in Bomadi, Delta State. Within three days of the broadcast, Dr. Otuaro ordered her transfer to a leading Abuja hospital and took full responsibility for her medical bills.
