Lagos APC Unveils 91 House of Reps Aspirants for 2027 Elections

On Saturday, 16 May 2026, the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) unveiled its 91 aspirants for the 2027 House of Representatives elections. These nominations span 21 federal constituencies across the state. The Agege slot goes to former Speaker Mudashiru Obasa, while Surulere I is contested by Fuad Kayode Laguda and Ifako-Ijaiye by Benjamin Adeyemi Olabinjo. Oshodi-Isolo leads the pack with 16 aspirants, followed by Lagos Mainland with seven hopefuls. Several constituencies are shaping up as high-stakes contests. Mushin II pits Seye Oladejo against Toyin Fayinka, Somolu hosts a four-way battle including ex-ALGON chairman Kolade Alabi and former lawmaker Rotimi Olowo, and Oshodi-Isolo I features Nollywood actress Foluke Daramola-Salako facing former council chiefs.
