Theme: Attracting God’s Help III Memory Verse: “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.” James 4:10 Today I conclude the teaching on humility as a key to receiving God’s help. Scripture reminds us that the Lord hears the humble and delivers them from oppression. True surrender—offering our lives as a living sacrifice—opens the door for His intervention. Pride almost cost Naaman his healing when he insisted on special treatment. Like him, we must approach God without entitlement. James 4:6 warns that God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. David’s lifelong example shows how humility invites God’s favor and protection. Key Point: Pride is a major hindrance to attracting God’s help. Prayer Points: 1. Thank God for lifting the humble and resisting the proud. 2. Confess any pride that blocks His help. 3. Surrender your life fully as a living sacrifice. 4. Ask for grace to obey God without arrogance. 5. Renounce every form of pride and approach His throne with humility.
