Abia Police Rescue Two 3-Year-Olds Lured with Donuts and Soft Drinks; Three Arrested

Abia State police have arrested three women for allegedly abducting two three-year-old children from Okrika, Rivers State. The victims, Caleb and Joy, were found with one suspect in Abia on May 10. According to the command, the children were enticed with donuts and soft drinks before being handed over through a chain of contacts. Investigations revealed the plot involved at least one welfare officer who remains at large. All three suspects are in police custody, and the rescued children have been safely reunited with their parents. Further questioning and forensic work are ongoing at the State Criminal Investigation Department.
