Orlando Bloom: From Legolas to Hollywood Star

Orlando Bloom is an English actor best known for his roles as Legolas in The Lord of the Rings and Will Turner in Pirates of the Caribbean. Born on 13 January 1977 in Canterbury, he trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and gained early TV roles before breaking out in epic fantasy films. He has starred in movies like Troy, Kingdom of Heaven, Black Hawk Down and the Amazon Prime series Carnival Row. Bloom earned an honorary doctorate from the University of Kent and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2014. Off screen, he supports environmental causes and follows Buddhist practices with Soka Gakkai International. He adopted a rescue dog while filming in Morocco and has taken steps to make his London home more sustainable. In his personal life, he has two children and has been linked to high-profile partners including Miranda Kerr and Katy Perry. His estimated net worth is around $40 million.
