Bernardo Silva to End Nine-Year Manchester City Career This Summer

Bernardo Silva has informed Manchester City he will leave when his contract expires at season’s end. The 31-year-old Portugal international joined City from Monaco in 2017. He has scored 76 goals and provided 77 assists in 449 matches, helping the club win 18 major trophies, including six Premier League titles and a Champions League. Silva’s next destination remains undecided. He has drawn interest from teams in the MLS and the Saudi Pro League, but European clubs are also monitoring his situation closely.

I agree, after nine years he might feel it's the right time for a fresh challenge outside City.

Silva leaves with impressive stats, yet Manchester City's midfield still looks stacked despite losing such a versatile playmaker.

City should start grooming replacements now and adjust their system for life without Silva's fluid dribbling before the transfer window opens.
