Governor Peter Mbah has congratulated Rangers International F.C. of Enugu on securing their ninth Nigeria Premier Football League title and the second under his administration. The Flying Antelopes clinched the 2025/2026 NPFL trophy with a 2–1 victory over Ikorodu City at Onikan Stadium, finishing the season on 68 points—just one ahead of Rivers United. The governor praised the team for restoring Enugu’s footballing glory and walking in the footsteps of past legends. He also highlighted that this success reflects his administration’s investment in sports and will inspire the upcoming National Sports Festival in Enugu this November.
