PDP’s Olaka Nwogu Wins Rivers South-East Senatorial By-Election
INEC has declared Olaka Nwogu of the PDP the winner of the Rivers South-East senatorial by-election. He secured 47,961 votes. The APC candidate followed with 1,647 votes, the AA with 1,175 votes, and the LP with 367 votes. Some observers note that the PDP’s entrenched structure gives it an edge over its rivals.
