Hon. Saka Yussuf Olatunji, Supervising Councilor for Budget and Planning in Otto-Awori LCDA, urged members to stay dedicated during the cooperative’s 10th anniversary celebration at Joysma Event Center in Isolo, Lagos. Faith leaders reinforced the call for commitment. Sheikh Abdulsalaam cited Quran 2:282–283 and urged disciplined loan management. Pastor James drew on Proverbs 10:22 to highlight the power of faith in financial success. Founder Mr. Gafar Oyedele traced the society’s rise from 10 members in 2015 to key milestones like a four-unit apartment project. The 2025 audit report showed income up to ₦11.82M and net surplus of ₦7.18M, with dividends and savings also on the rise. Members received home appliances and gifts, while cultural performances added festive flair. Plans are now underway to build a permanent cooperative house in Ilasamaja to support future growth and member empowerment.
