NDLEA Declares Meth Kingpin ‘Odogwu’ and Three Associates Wanted, Freezes ₦9.8bn
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has declared suspected drug kingpin Nnamuka Kelvin Uchenna (aka Odogwu) and three associates wanted. They face charges of running a clandestine methamphetamine lab and laundering drug proceeds. Operatives uncovered the lab in Isiozi, Umuaka, Imo State, where they seized 18.4kg of meth and other items in February. Investigations linked the four suspects to the operation, and they have since gone into hiding. The agency froze bank accounts holding a combined ₦9.840bn and secured interim forfeiture orders on a filling station, multi-storey buildings, and four SUVs tied to the network. NDLEA chairman Brig. Gen. Buba Marwa commended his team’s efforts and vowed to pursue the fugitives. He urged anyone with information to contact the nearest NDLEA office or use the agency’s confidential lines.
