Flamingos Cruise to 3-0 Victory Over Dream Star Ladies in Final Warm-Up

Nigeria’s U-17 women’s team, the Flamingos, began their final World Cup qualifier preparations with a 3-0 win over Dream Star Ladies at Remo Stars Sports Complex, Ikenne. Mary Dunstan opened the scoring in the 24th minute. Queen Joseph and Oluwakemi Adegbuyi added two second-half goals to secure the comfortable victory. The Flamingos now prepare to host Benin Republic’s Young Amazons for the first leg of their 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifying tie on Saturday, 4 July. The return fixture is set for Stade de Kégué in Lomé one week later.
