Discern True Counsel with God’s Word

In Matthew 16, Jesus reveals to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, suffer, be killed, and rise again. Peter rebukes Him, not realizing Satan spoke through him. Jesus sharply corrects Peter, teaching that only God’s perspective matters. Knowing Scripture equips you to judge every voice—yours, Satan’s, or God’s. Let God’s Word dwell in you richly, transforming your mind and guiding every thought and decision. This discernment helps you prove and follow God’s perfect will (Romans 12:2). Prayer Dear Father, thank You for Your Word that brings understanding. Help me recognise any thought or influence not from You. May Your truth guide my words and actions always.
