Agha Mba Unveils Grassroots Sports Plan as Anambra Youth and Sports Commissioner

Patrick Agha Mba has been sworn in as Anambra State’s Commissioner for Youth Empowerment and Sports. He returns after serving as Youth Development Commissioner in the previous administration. He pledged a bottom-up approach to discover talent, empower young people and deepen community engagement. His ministry will work with local governments and the private sector to build a sustainable sports ecosystem. A new sports law is in development to give councils the power to drive grassroots talent discovery. The expanded portfolio also links sports activities to job creation and social development for the state’s youth. He thanked Governor Soludo for the opportunity and said his focus is to connect grassroots growth with state-level sporting success.
