Suspected Copper Wire Thief Arrested at Plateau’s College of Accountancy

Troops from Operation Enduring Peace (OPEP) arrested a 42-year-old man in Kwall, Bassa Local Government Area, Plateau State on May 3, 2026. He was caught trying to steal copper wires from the College of Accountancy during routine surveillance. A chainsaw was recovered at the scene. No injuries were reported during the arrest. The suspect is now in custody and undergoing further investigation by Sector 3 OPEP.
