RTEAN Kwara Warns Against Drunk Driving, Urges Strict Traffic Compliance
The Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria’s Kwara chapter has cautioned motorists against driving under the influence of alcohol and called on all drivers to prioritise safety. The association’s state chairman highlighted that alcohol impairs judgment, slows reaction time, and contributes to crashes, injuries, and fatalities. He advised drivers to avoid drinking before hitting the road, obey speed limits, and follow all traffic signs. Transport operators and vehicle owners were urged to educate their drivers on responsible conduct. Collective adherence to traffic rules, the chairman said, will go a long way in reducing accidents and making Nigerian highways safer for everyone.
