Conquer the Unchecked Tongue: Victory in Christ

Wisdom Digest for Today, Day 83: The Gate of Unchecked Tongue — Now Conquered in Christ. In Christ, my words are no longer ruled by the flesh. They are guided by the Holy Spirit, as Ephesians 4:29 and Ezekiel 36:26–27 remind us. Speech now flows from a transformed heart, not mere human effort. Yet wrong speech still happens when I speak from emotion, yield to anger or pride, or forget my identity in Christ. To walk in victory, I must yield daily to the Spirit, pause before speaking, fill my heart with God’s Word, and choose words that build. Father, thank You for conquering my tongue. Help me speak life, wisdom, and grace always. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
