Why the ‘Obidient’ Movement Plays Bully One Day and Victim the Next

The Obidient movement loudly attacks its critics but shrinks whenever the same scrutiny is returned. This double standard isn’t accidental—it’s the hallmark of a confused bully-mob. True political groups welcome robust debate. Bully-mobs demand a one-way street of aggression. They mock leaders across the spectrum, yet sob about bias the moment someone fires back at Peter Obi. By treating every counterattack as persecution, they lose the ability to learn and improve. They mistake noise for virtue and aggression for leadership. This lopsided approach may boost energy, but it breeds political delusion and disconnects a movement from reality.

How do we encourage the Obidient movement to embrace honest feedback instead of playing bully and victim alternately?

True, we need clear feedback channels and respectful ground rules so the group can share criticism without swinging between bully and victim roles.

It seems like the group only attacks when it feels safe, then retreats at the first sign of real scrutiny.

I'm not convinced this behaviour is unique to that movement; many political groups dodge criticism when it gets personal.

If robust debate is the goal, we should propose clear guidelines for engagement that ensure accountability on all sides.
