Tuggar Vanguard Rejects Yuguda’s $150,000 Bribe Allegation Against Foreign Affairs Minister

Tuggar Vanguard Rejects Yuguda’s $150,000 Bribe Allegation Against Foreign Affairs Minister

Tuggar Vanguard has dismissed former Bauchi governor Isa Yuguda’s claim that Foreign Affairs Minister Yusuf Maitama Tuggar took a $150,000 bribe. The group’s chairman, Garba Mohammed, says there is no credible evidence to support the allegation. Mohammed warned that unverified accusations harm Yuguda’s own reputation. He urged that any proof be presented to the proper authorities instead of relying on hearsay or political bitterness. The group highlighted Tuggar’s consistent record within progressive parties since 2007 and called on all stakeholders to pursue internal channels for resolving disputes. They urged a focus on unity, democratic strengthening, and the Renewed Hope Agenda for Bauchi’s development.
