Sunday Igboho Gives Fulani Leaders Two-Hour Deadline to Free Kidnapped Pregnant Woman
Yoruba Nation activist Sunday Igboho has issued a two-hour ultimatum to Fulani leaders in Igboho, Oyo State. He demands the immediate release of a pregnant woman, her sibling, and the woman’s children, who were abducted overnight. Suspected Fulani gunmen seized the family and first demanded a N300 million ransom before reducing it to N150 million. When the ransom bearer arrived, both the bearer and the pregnant woman were killed, leaving only one captive alive. Igboho declared that the community will not pay any ransom. He urged Fulani leaders to pool resources among themselves to meet the demand and free the hostages within two hours. He warned that failure to comply would lead to direct action.
