Champions League Thriller: PSG Outgun Bayern 5-4 in Nine-Goal Classic

Champions League Thriller: PSG Outgun Bayern 5-4 in Nine-Goal Classic

Paris Saint-Germain stunned Bayern Munich 5-4 in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final in a match packed with drama. Harry Kane opened the scoring from the spot in the 17th minute. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia levelled before João Neves put PSG ahead. Michael Olise’s long-range strike brought Bayern back on terms, but Ousmane Dembélé’s late first-half penalty gave the hosts a 3-2 lead. In the second half, Kvaratskhelia and Dembélé struck again to stretch PSG’s advantage. Bayern fought back through Dayot Upamecano and a late goal to set up a tense finale. The nine-goal spectacle highlighted attacking flair and defensive lapses on both sides. With the tie finely poised, Bayern will visit Paris under pressure to overturn the deficit in the return leg.
