Pan-African Activist Kemi Seba Arrested in South Africa Amid Extradition Request
As Pan-Africanists, we demand the immediate and unconditional release of Brother Kemi Seba. He was arrested at a Pretoria shopping mall and charged with conspiracy and immigration breaches. South Africa now faces extradition requests from Benin and France. This detention exposes a glaring double standard. A nation that speaks for justice abroad must uphold those principles at home. If the South African elite ignores our call, we will push for its suspension from the African Union. Kemi Seba renounced his French citizenship to challenge neo-colonial influence. He continues to campaign against the CFA franc. Silencing his voice is an injustice that must end.
